Tyrebagger is a place to explore and enjoy the peace and grandeur of a mature forest. The Beech Tree Trail is ideal for toddlers and anybody pushing a carriage, while longer routes interface the forest with four hills around Aberdeen. There are some genuinely impressive trees at Tyrebagger. In the east of the forest you'll stroll under superb Douglas firs, overshadowing you like church building pillars, shading a floor covering of ferns and wood sorrel. Connecting Tyrebagger with Elrick Hill, Brimmond Hill and Kirkhill Forest, the Four Hills Walk is a famous course amongst nearby hillwalkers.
