The museum is located in an excellent building refurbished by Stefano Bardini toward the finish of the eighteenth century and gave by its proprietor to the Municipal Administration of Florence in 1922. Bardini was a famous craftsmanship vendor who gathered objects of various periods and of superior grade. Indeed, even the structure itself is remarkable for its use of doors, windows and moldings of old fragments initially having a place with demolished churches and villas. The ceilings are heavenly examples of Venetian and Tuscan woodwork going from the fifteenth to the seventeenth centuries.
