The Salvatore Ferragamo museum in Florence is a most visited must-see for all shopping and fashion lovers. The museum is focused on the history of perhaps the most famous Italian fashion firms, highlighting an assortment of shoes (counting custom models for celebrities like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn), dresses and accessories, displayed on turn, which depicts crafted by Salvatore Ferragamo from the 1920s to the 1960s. Opened in 1995, the museum was made by the Ferragamo family after the worldwide success of a show on the extraordinary shoe designer Salvatore Ferragamo's work, initially held at the Strozzi Palace in Florence.
