The memorial park was developed on top of the already existing Peter Pan playground yet is more sophisticated and bigger. This is one of the better-known London tourist places where you can carry your kids to play as you laze around in the surrounding gardens. Several locals, as well as tourists, can be seen in this section of the park at some random time. It is a circle of finely sculptured stone. Water enters at the highest point and flows in two directions, meeting at the lowest point, from which it is reused. The game plan is fit for some symbolic interpretations: the circle of life; two individuals joining, separating and meeting up as they leave the world; the meaninglessness of try; a moebius strip; life and passing. In the initial year (2004) there was an underlying issue with kids slipping on the wet rock, solved by acquiring security guards to stop them, and with the grass being stomped on to mud by the unexpected crowds. From the lakeside walk, the dedication wellspring looks like a low concrete holding divider jutting over the grass.
