The Paragon Carousel will be open for weekends, from afternoon to 5pm, starting May 8 Saturday. The Carousel Creamery will be starting for weekends, start 7 day/week operations, noon to 9pm. The Paragon Carousel has been running along the shorelines of stunning Nantasket Beach for ninety years. Built in 1928 through the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, it boasts 4 rows of 66 intricately carved horses and two rare Roman chariots. It is decorated with 35 unique paintings, 36 cherubs and 18 goddesses who appearance down while a Wurlitzer Band Organ fills the air with song. Enjoy a ride with a brand new observed appreciation for the beauty of the horses and the tale of their vicinity in Paragon Park’s history. Listen to the Wurlitzer Band Organ fill the air with tune as you whirl round and spherical, like generations of kids of every age have earlier than. The Paragon Park Museum is located in The Clock Tower Building, a Nantasket Beach landmark.
