This is one of a series of interconnected art museums; all operated below the banner of the Musées de Royaux des Beaux-arts de Belgique. The Oldmasters Museum (formerly the Musée d'Art Ancien) can pay unique interest to the so-known as Flemish Primitives of the 15th century, who revolutionized the art of portray with oil.
