Located in the core heart of Covent Garden, the museum explores the incredible link between the growth of modern London and transport, its society and culture since 1800. Highlights incorporate the notorious red London bus, the world’s first Underground steams train and the cushioned cell – a train carriage tracing all the way back to the 1890s. Design lovers and transport enthusiasts the same can appreciate the Design for Travel display which showcases spearheading advertising posters and artworks. You'll see Harry Beck's unique work of art for his notable London Underground guide and the story of the advancement of the world-famous roundel transport logo.
