King's College Chapel
2021-02-05Aberdeen's first university (and Scotland's third), in 1495 and was here that Bishop Elphinstone established King's College. The sixteenth century school sanctuary is easily perceived by its crown spire; the inside is to a great extent unaltered since it was first worked, with impressive stained-glass windows and ensemble stalls. Serving as a token of Aberdeen University's foundations in 1495, the sanctuary stands as a delightful for setting for weddings, concerts, a position of reflection and history and church services. The Crown Tower remains perhaps the most historic and lovely emblems and icons of our University.
