King's Chapel

2021-06-12

Like many other Freedom Trail sites, King's Chapel is still a functioning church, home to a lively autonomous congregation affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association domination. During your visit, investigate the sanctuary, revealing the stories of previous church members as you sit in the first pews; investigate neighborhood history with one of our gifted educators; and go along with us for a Bells and Bones visit to encounter an eighteenth century grave and chime tower. Experience an exclusive glance at King's Chapel on a signature Bells and Bones Tour. Guests investigate the eighteenth century grave underneath the house of prayer and visit an 1816 Paul Revere church ringer. The Bells and Bones visit takes the gathering to the sepulcher as well as to the ringer tower. The Revolutionary King's Chapel visit enlightens one about the church's history and its part in Colonial America. And afterward there is the King's Chapel and Unitarian Christianity visit and The Art and Architecture of King's Chapel visit as well. It is a special combination of history, spirituality, and design.  Lord's Chapel is available to visitors over time through various guided tours for students and tourists alike.
