The temple is basically the same in appearance to another popular temple, the Puri Jagannath temple is Orissa. The idols have been inherent Neem wood and the shrine itself is underlying glistening, dark stone and shining white marble, from Kancheepuram and Orissa. The temple walls are decorated with Pata Chitra paintings, some portraying the numerous incarnations of Vishnu. Lush green lawns and joined with scintillating sea smells, thanks to a close by sea shore, surround the temple, making it picturesque and soothing. The flowers filled in the nursery are used for the pujas, which are directed in Oriya style by the priests, who are also from Orissa.
