Giardino dell'Iris is a botanical garden portraying in the development of iris flowers, symbol of Florence since 1251. It is situated at the intersection of Viale dei Colli and Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, Italy, and opens step by step without charge from May 2–20 consistently. The nursery is possessed by the Società italiana dell'Iris, which has opened the nursery to general society since hosting the yearly "Global dell'Iris" in 1954. The nursery contains a lake is for the development of oceanic varieties and provides a great perspective on Florence and its surrounding hills.
