Church of ‘Saint James’ committed to the patron saint of the town, is set at the highest point of the Old Town on a slope called Canfali. It is a neoclassical structure, underlying the eighteenth Century with the common blue Mediterranean arch. There are numerous legends about the Church of St. James the Greater, one of them about a burglar who was trapped in the demonstration – in a real sense got by the arm – by the statue of St. Mary on the principle raised area, while denying her of the gifts she had gotten for being held as miraculous.
