The glorious Caves of Canelobre are located close to Busot, around 24 kilometres from the city of Alicante. The caves are one of Spain's largest and deepest cavern systems. These caves are accepted to go back to 740AD. They are still evolving continuously, at a pace of 1 centimetre at regular intervals. For tourism purpose, the stalactites and stalagmites are enlightened with cunning lighting. The primary fascination of the caves is the candelabra arrangement.
