Brig o' Balgownie

The Brig o' Balgownie is a 13th century connects spanning the River Don in Old Aberdeen. Construction of the bridge was started in the late 13th century by Richard Cementarius, despite the fact that its fruition was not until 1320 at the hour of the Scottish War of Independence. Subsequent to falling into dilapidation during the sixteenth century it was broadly revamped in 1605. The scaffold is developed of rock and sandstone. Its single Gothic curve has a range of more than 12 meters and at low tide the zenith of the curve lies more than 17 meters over the water-line.
