Ara Pacis

This museum is based on the banks of the River Tiber has been developed for the Ara Pacis, a sacrificial raised area tracing all the way back to the year 9 BC. Arranged as a component of a work to secure the social tradition of Rome, the new structure replaces the previous enclosure of the landmark that was in a state of cutting edge rot. The structure consists of a long glass hold up on a single raised floor on a shallow platform that provides a transparent hindrance between the Tiber dike and the existing round border of the Augustus mausoleum which was implicit the year 28 BC.
